Tony McDougall was born in Central and attended Queen’s College Boys’ High School from which school he matriculated in 1972. He obtained a B.Iuris degree at the University of Port Elizabeth in 1978. After a period of employment at the local Magistrate’s Office, Tony returned to finalize his studies and do his articles of clerkship in Central where he obtained a LL.B degree at the University of Rhodes while simultaneously completing his articles under the guidance of Mr Richard Laing of Wheeldon Rushmere & Cole. He was admitted as an Attorney after completing his articles in June 1986. Tony is a founder member of Bowes, McDougall Inc. which began its practice in Central in 1988. Tony has years of experience as a general legal practitioner. He heads the , Department at BMC Inc. and has years of experience in High Court and Magistrate’s Court ,. He is well versed in Labour Law / CCMA and with his experience as both a Prosecutor and Magistrate is able to assist with disciplinary hearings and most labour issues.
