The firm was established in 1903 by JS Brink. In 1910, EM Brink became a partner of the firm, which was then known as Brink & Brink. SP Bekker was a partner in the firm of Bekker & Niemeyer as it was then known. In 1927, Mr Niemeyer moved to Pretoria and the two said firms amalgamated to form Bekker Brink & Brink. Mr Bekker retired from the firm in 1934 when he became the administrator for the province of Transvaal. In 1946, Mr MA Brink joined the firm and was admitted as a partner in 1948. In the same year, Mr JS Brink retired from the firm. M Brink and MA Brink continued the practice until 1958 when HJ Tempel joined the firm as a partner. In 1975, Mr E Papenfus joined the firm and became a partner in 1977, in which year Mr HJ Tempel retired from the firm. On the 1st of April 1980, Bekker Brink & Brink and Arnoldi and Van der Wath amalgamated their practices under the name and style of Bekker Brink & Brink. P Grobler was then admitted as a partner on 1 March 1981. During 1984, Mr AAA van Wyk also joined the firm as a partner, but retired from the firm on 28 February 1994, when he was appointed Sheriff of the Magistrates Court for Pietersburg. PC Beukes joined the firm during 1992 and became a director in 1997. Mr Papenfus, Arnoldi and Grobler has also retired. Mrs. L Heine joined the firm in 2006 and became the first female director in August 2016. The current directors are PC Beukes and L Heine.
