Colleen obtained her BA LLB through the University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, Pietermaritzburg and she completed her Articles at Hugo & Ngwenya Attorneys in Pretoria. She then pursued a career with Deloitte working in their Corporate and Commercial Department and after gaining invaluable experience at a global company Colleen then moved on to i-Intelligence (later, Singular Systems) where she was employed as the senior In-House Legal Advisor. With 14 year’s legal experience, she started practicing for her own account, and is the founder of C. Ries Incorporated which specialises in corporate and commercial, Child Law and Criminal Law.
