The law firm of GFT Pistorius Inc. (initially Terblanche & du Preez and previously Terblanche-Pistorius Inc) was established in Middelburg in 1984. From its humble beginnings sprouted the roots for founding a strong and steadfast legal establishment over the following decades. The firm converted to a private incorporated company in 1994. In July 2001 Theo Pistorius joined the firm as an associate and was later appointed as director. In April 2003 the firm’s name was changed to G.F T. Pistorius Inc. The firm’s success over many years is largely attributed to a culture of rendering the highest standards of service in a professional and cost-effective manner. Service excellence is achieved by the fact that the firm is not only committed to its customers but also to its people – People that understand the processes of the law and are customer focused. The founding fathers of the firm, Dries Terblanche and Hegard du Preez, are no longer with the firm, Dries having moved to Pretoria and Helgard sadly passing away in December 2021. We are fortunate to have highly skilled professionals, like Irene Do O’ Faustino who are steering the company to new heights.
