Hennie van der Walt was admitted as an attorney in 1997 and gained valuable experience by working as a professional assistant for several big to medium sized law firms. After spending a couple of years in the long-term insurance industry he started Hennie van der Walt attorneys at the end of 2008. From the outset he came into contact with a diverse range of clients from different cultural, business and personal backgrounds. This experience gave him the much needed understanding of the specific legal problems faced by many South Africans on a day to day basis, not only in their personal lives but also in their workplaces. Hennie now uses his legal and personal experience to better serve the needs of his current clients. He also applies the knowledge he gained to the advantage of all new clients that approach him for assistance. Many of the legal problems of his clients became the niche areas of his legal practice. These include employment related issues, disputes between landlords and tenants, Divorce Law and Child Law issues, civil litigation and the negotiation and drafting of business agreements. Hennie enjoys giving advice to clients and welcome potential clients that may need assistance in his areas of focus.
