Zunaid graduated among the top 10 law graduates from the University of the Witwatersrand in 2013 and graduated magna cum laude from UC Berkeley School of Law, California in 2017. In 2018 Zunaid was invited to apply to the Berkeley Centre for Law and Business (BCLB), one of California’s most respected University-linked business and law consultancies. While at BCLB Zunaid helped pioneer Venture Capital University, an online venture capital education platform and assisted in establishing the Business in Society Institute, which focuses on sustainable methods of corporate governance, dignity in the workplace and impact investing. Zunaid currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of the Brightest Young Minds NPC, one of Africa’s leading entrepreneurship hubs and is a Director of LHL Attorneys Incorporated, which has taken on some of South Africa’s most complex litigious matters. Prior to being appointed as a Director of LHL Attorneys, Zunaid was an attorney at Cliffe Dekker Hofmeyr, South Africa’s preeminent corporate and commercial law firm. Zunaid has a passion for venture capital, corporate governance and business strategy. He also has a particular interest in helping stem the tides of GBV and corruption. Zunaid is fluent in English and conversant in Afrikaans, Zulu and German.
