MH Inc, although newly formed, is a law firm that is headed up by years of experience in the form of Filipe Marques who has 23 years of experience in the field of law. Having headed up his previous firm for almost two decades, Filipe Marques along with his business partner and co-director Tamra Hattingh, had the vision and belief of seeking out a fresh new look and approach in meeting the various legal challenges their clients face on a daily basis. Tamra brings a fresh and vibrant perspective to the firm which, while upholding the traditional ethos and ethics of a law firm, is modern and progressive enough to understand that it needs to morph and adapt to what are modern and ever progressive times. Although young, Tamra has extensive experience in various fields of law having achieved her Master’s degree in Commercial Law to go alongside her admission as an Attorney, a Notary as well as that of a Conveyancer. Together Marques and Hattingh bring a balanced and fresh approach to practicing law and while Filipe focuses primarily on the litigation side of the practice, Tamra heads up the Conveyancing arm of the firm with both being assisted by an excellent and diligent support team who, although unseen and working behind the scenes, form what is undoubtedly the backbone of what is the Marques Hattingh Incorporated family. MH Inc offers a variety of services from general collections (litigation) on behalf of its clients to tailored agreements, registration of transfers of properties as well as ante nuptial contracts, family law to name but a few. The practice is situated in the heart of the Johannesburg’s Southern Suburbs but prides itself, although being family orientated, to offering very corporate and professional legal services to all of their clients who extend nationwide.
