Piet resigned as a director of Milers on 31 March 2016, but is still associated with the firm as a consultant. Although he has been released from his management and active law practice commitments he now mostly manages the other business interests of the firm.Piet graduated from the University of Stellenbosch with BA and LL.B degrees and joined Millers In,d in March 1986, after some years as a partner of a leading Pretoria law firm. He practiced in the , and , law department of the firm and is also an admitted notary and conveyancer. He has extensive experience in property development and , work as well as notarial work, especially in the fields of , and mineral law.
