Willie Balt
Willie Balt studied at the University of Potchefstroom where he obtained the degree B.Iuris on 17 March 1995 and also the degree LL.B on 18 September 1997 during which period he was also an exchange student to Leiden University. A fter his admission as an Attorney on 16 February 1999 with the right to appear in the Supreme Court being granted to him on 29 March 1999, Willie Balt was appointed as chairman of the Brits Attorney Association for a period of 2 (two) consecutive years during 2001/2002 and also served as Acting Regional Court Magistrate in Brits during 2003 where he mainly acted as the Presiding Officer in all the Civil Law Court motion , and trials.
